The only verified ranking system for women's Muay Thai.
Women of Muay Thai (WoMT) exists because no one else was doing this. Fighters were competing at the highest levels with no unified record, no recognised rankings, and no platform dedicated to tracking their results. We built one.
What is WoMT?
Women of Muay Thai is the first and only independent ranking and results platform built exclusively for female Muay Thai fighters. We track verified fights across promotions worldwide — from Thailand's most prestigious stadiums to international events — and use that data to produce fair, consistent rankings.
There are no pay-to-play rankings here. No promoter politics. No popularity votes. Rankings are earned in the ring, verified by our team, and calculated by a consistent scoring system applied equally to every fighter on the platform.
What does "Verified" mean?
Every fight on WoMT goes through a verification process before it counts toward rankings. A fight is marked verified once we have confirmed proof of the result through at least one of the following:
- Official video footage of the bout
- Confirmation from the hosting promotion
- Confirmation from a fighter's camp or representative
- Social media confirmation from official accounts
Unverified fights appear in the system but do not affect rankings or points until verified.
How are points calculated?
WoMT uses a proprietary scoring matrix built specifically for Muay Thai. It is not a simple win/loss counter. Points are weighted based on multiple factors including:
- Result — win, loss, or draw
- Method of victory
- Stakes of the bout — title fights carry additional weight
- Level and context of the competition
- Promotion and event tier
The exact formula combines legacy Muay Thai scoring principles with our own ranking matrix, refined over time to reflect the realities of women's competition globally. Fighting more does not automatically mean ranking higher — quality and context matter.
Ranking Periods
Every verified fight from January 1st of the current year counts. The YTD snapshot locks on the 1st of each month. This is the primary ranking — the most complete picture of who has been performing consistently all year.
Only fights from the current calendar month count. Monthly rankings highlight who is active and winning right now — a fighter can be low in YTD but dominating the monthly board. Great for spotting form and momentum.
A live rolling window of the last 7 days. The most current view of the sport — updated continuously as new verified results come in. Follow WoMT on social for weekly ranking updates every Sunday.
When do rankings update?
The YTD snapshot locks on the 1st of every month. This means the rankings you see on the website reflect all verified fights up to the end of the previous month. New fights verified during the current month will appear in next month's snapshot.
Weekly rankings are live and rolling — they update continuously as fights are verified. Follow us on Instagram for the weekly rankings post every Sunday, which covers all fights verified that week.
This structure is intentional. The monthly snapshot gives fighters, camps, and promotions a stable, consistent reference point. The weekly view keeps the community engaged with what's happening right now.
Who is tracked?
Any female Muay Thai fighter who competes at a tracked promotion is eligible to appear in the WoMT system. We currently track fighters from over 50 countries competing across 29 promotions — from Lumpinee and Rajadamnern to regional events in Europe, Australia, and beyond.
Fighter profiles are created when fights are entered. Fighters and camps can claim profiles, submit fight results, and provide additional information through our submission process.
Which promotions are covered?
We track all major women's Muay Thai promotions and are continuously adding more. Current coverage includes Rajadamnern Knockout, RWS, Lumpinee Super Champ, Patong Fight Night, SRC Siam Real Combat, MAX Muay Thai, ONE Friday Fights, and many more.
If your promotion runs regular women's bouts and is not yet listed, contact us — we want to track every fight.
